What we did on friday:
We had A course selection sheet for nesxt year (grade 9). We talked about how we will pick electives, alternates... and also discussed a little bit about some subjects.
We continued peer checking for our paragraphs (descriptive, persuasive, explanatory, narrative) with partners.
Why we did (Learning intention)
We got our course selection sheet for our next grade (which is grade 9) and to have subjects you want to be in. (execpt regular subjects which is English, Social Studies, Math, Science, P.E)
We continued on our peer checking for our paragraphs to know what mistakes you've made and fixing that error so it never happens again.
Connections/Reflections
The course selection sheet is to organize what students wants to be in some classes. Also it will help us pick what we should do in the future such as jobs, hobbies)
Peer checking helps us to find our error and fix it and also it tells us what other people think about your work and what you have to improve on.
Homework/Tips:
Our homework is to finish your good copy for your paragraphs after finishing all your peer checkings, and get your course selection sheet ready by monday.
My tip is to finish your peer checking in school or on social network with your partner and do your good copies at home.
